Car Pursuit

By Yomero

The young lady wakes up. She hears soft techno music. It is still night. She discovers she is inside a sport car on the front passenger seat. The car is going south, out of the San Francisco area.

She is a young pony tailed redheaded, dress in night out clothes. She looks down cross-eyed and discovers she is gagged with duct tape. She tries turning back while she moves her arms. She can't see them, but realizes her forearms are also wrapped together in tape behind the seat. Her torso is also wrapped to the seat and her low heel leather boots are wrapped together at the ankles with the same material.

Still confused, she recalls attending earlier the disco. She was on the dancing floor, peeking at corner of the ballroom where a man was observing her. Then the highlights from cars going the opposite way, interrupts her thoughts.

The captive woman turns to her left and finds the man at the disco behind the wheel. He is a slim tanned man on his early thirties with white shoulder hair. He is dressed in a yellow gabardine with black jeans, black shirt and sun glasses. He has a white stick coming out of the right side of his mouth. He keeps moving it while he drives.

The victim tries getting the man's attention screaming below the tape, but he ignores her. She keeps trying until the man pumps up the volume of the stereo and she desists.

They keep driving away from the city on a lonely road. Passing a curve, two hidden cars turn on their lights and follow the yellow sports car at full speed.

The captor looks at the rear mirror and observes the two cars following him. They keep changing lines as they want being noticed. The man in the yellow gabardine pulls out the lollypop from his mouth then throws it out and accelerates.

Both pursuit cars are European models, one red and the other green. The red car is driven by a woman wearing dark leather jacket with short straight black hair, thick red lips and small glasses. Behind the wheel of the green car is a burnet woman wearing a green jumpsuit with large round glasses. They approach the yellow car hitting its bumper.

The red car fires a magnetic disk with cables linking both vehicles, fixing it to the back of the kidnaper's car. The disk starts sending electric discharges all over the car's yellow body. Inside the car, an alert flashes on the dashboard displaying an alert of "Hacking Attempt". Quickly, the man presses a few buttons sending stronger discharges, burning up the magnetic disk and frying the red car's computer through the cables.

While the red car's driver tantrums at her failing attack, the green car moves ahead. It goes for the artillery deploying a flame thrower hidden on the right side of the vehicle front. The driver notice the driver is preparing to use the flamethrower on his car and pulls a switch spraying thick slick dark oil down his rear bumper. Both chasers start skidding until the crash against each other and pull off the road.

The captive redheaded watches all this astonished. She turns to the driver with widen eyes as the man pulls a second lollypop from his shirt pocket and puts it in his mouth.

Miles ahead the scene, at the entrance of a bridge going over a plentiful river, another sport car is parked aside. It's a dark sports car with its lights turned off. At the other side of the road is a catgirl wearing a pink plug suit. The purple haired feline wears a big army helmet with the sergeant insignia at the front. She uses a pair of binoculars and observes the road.

A minute later, she sees the lights of the yellow car. She signals the man over the black car. The pale skin man nods once. The catgirl pulls a large bazooka and aims it at the road.

Inside the yellow car, the redheaded gets inpatient and mumbles to the man. The man bored just throws a lollypop at the lap of the wrapped victim. Then she stops mumbling distracted from a large flash ahead of the road.

The rocket hits the asphalt just below the front of the car. The driver looses control and goes out the road toward the catgirl. She jumps to the side and the car misses her, but falls into the water sinking in the river. The feline soldier peeks at the shore taking off her helmet and scratching her head.

Inside the vehicle, the driver lies unconscious over the wheel. Aside the man, the woman struggles frantically as the water stars coming in. She stumps the floor desperately trying to wake him up.

The water reaches her knees and making her panic. She pulls with all her strength her arms seeking to free her hands, but they are wrapped with several layers of duct tape.

The level rises up to her waist. Her heart keeps beating faster. She keeps screaming behind her gagged mouth shaking her head.

As the water goes over her chest, her screaming now sounds like begging cries. She rocks desperately trying separating her body from the seat she is fixed to. She manages loosing the screws from one side, but this didn't help much.

Now the water is around her neck. She can't see the driver's body anymore. The woman stops moving and tries reaching as high as possible keeping the water away from her nose.

With the water over her duct tapped mouth, she stops mumbling. Her eyes, however display a terrified expression as a tear runs down her left eye. She leans her head back seeking for the last breath of air inside the car. She now mumbles sorrowful sobs as she looses hope. Blinded by the car roof light, she awaits her fate as her face is about to sink below water.

Mel gasps as she regains conscious. She turns to the left as the sunlight coming from the window hurts her eyes. The human size fairy is at Suichiro's apartment. She is lying naked on the Gold team leader's bed. Her hands and feet are wrapped in duct tape to each of the corners of the bed. She tries opening her mouth but discovers she is also gagged in tape. The whole room is a mess with furniture turned around and curtains ripped. The mirror on the wall is also broken. After looking at the room, she leans her head back and sighs thinking to herself.

"These full-moon dreams get weirder each month." Mel proclaims closing back her eyes. "Suichi is dead tired. I'll be stuck like these at least a couple of hours more."

End.
